Students enrolled in the NBISP receive mandatory medical coverage through Blue Cross Insurance. This mandatory insurance ensures all NBISP students throughout the province are receiving equal quality, coverage, and support if medical attention is required. Although some students may opt to buy insurance in their home country they are required to use Medavie Blue Cross, through the NBISP, once in New Brunswick.
